About the job

Job description:

As Analysis Engineer, you work in the Special analysis team that focusses on a range of engineering simulation techniques as well as material research activities.

Through your detailed analysis and calculations, you support the broader engineering department consisting of development, design and system engineering groups and a test lab team.

You report your findings and in collaboration with the development engineer you determine necessary measures and iterate towards solutions and further analysis.

For this open vacancy we are looking for a person with a strong interest and affinity in the fields of FEA & CFD.

Your specific tasks include:

  • FE analysis from single mechanical components to integrated systems. There is a large range of possible study fields: strength & deflection evaluation, dynamic behavior, thermal and magnetic behavior, etc. Main simulation tool is Abaqus.
  • CFD simulations with the main focus on gearbox oil management, cooling and thermal analysis. Main simulation tool is Particleworks, but also meshed based CFD is used when better suited.
  • There is growth potential within the team towards NVH, gearbox system, efficiency, 1D/function block system modeling or electromotor simulation fields.

About you:

  • You hold a Master’s degree in Industrial, Automotive or Electro‑Mechanical Engineering — or an equivalent engineering background.
  • Analytical thinking and problem‑solving come naturally to you, and you approach challenges with a sharp, critical mindset.
  • Experience with Abaqus or other FEA tools is a strong advantage.
  • You excel at modelling physical phenomena and translating them into reliable engineering insights.
  • You communicate fluently in English; knowledge of Dutch is a welcome bonus.
  • You’re comfortable taking ownership and working independently when needed.

Our offer?

  • A  high-tech environment full of creative and technical talent.
  • A varied job where you will be continually expanding your knowledge.
  • A dynamic work atmosphere in an organization with a low-level hierarchy and an international company culture with integrity, teamwork, innovation, institutionalism and leadership as defining values.
  • An easily accessible location with ample parking.
  • An attractive salary package including group & hospitalization insurance as well as meal & eco vouchers.
  • The possibility to partly define your salary package via a flexible benefit plan (flex car, flex bike, mobile & ICT devices).
  • To help build a sustainable world, we are offering a maximum bike allowance and third-party payment system ‘NMBS’.
  • 20 legal holidays and 12 recuperation days (ADV) based on a 38-hour work week.
  • There is a possibility to work some days a week from home.
