Job description:

We are seeking a highly skilled Automotive Embedded Software Development Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing and developing low-level embedded real-time software for automotive transmission applications, ensuring robust and efficient integration with hardware components.

Your key tasks include:

  • Develop Hardware Abstraction Layer (HAL) drivers.
  • Design and implement SPI drivers
  • Develop code to integrate Power Management ICs and CAN transceivers.
  • Document your software design, and implementation details in a structured manner.
  • Collaborate with hardware engineers to ensure seamless integration and functionality.
  • Perform debugging, and testing of the developed software components.
  • Develop ASIL-D compliant software for safety functions

About you:

  • Msc. (ir./ing.) in Electronics or Computer Sciences with a passion for electronics and real-time embedded software
  • Experience in automotive software development standards (MISRA, ISO 26262, ISO21434).
  • Several years of experience in C programming for real-time embedded systems.
  • Proficient in developing HAL components and SPI driver integration.
  • Experience with real-time operating systems (RTOS)
  • Familiarity with CAN communication protocols and CAN transceiver integration.
  • Experience with Renesas RH850 CPU family.
  • Experience with AUTOSAR applications.
  • Experience with ETAS tooling for Autosar compliant software development
  • Hands on experience with automotive software measurement tools (CANape, CANoe, CANalyzer, or equivalent)
  • Excellent problem analysis and solving skills.
  • Ability to work and think in a structured and detail-oriented manner.
  • Hands-on, proactive, and highly motivated.
  • Strong communication and documentation skills for cross-functional collaboration.
