Job description:
We are seeking a highly skilled Automotive Embedded Software Development Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing and developing low-level embedded real-time software for automotive transmission applications, ensuring robust and efficient integration with hardware components.
Your key tasks include:
- Develop Hardware Abstraction Layer (HAL) drivers.
- Design and implement SPI drivers
- Develop code to integrate Power Management ICs and CAN transceivers.
- Document your software design, and implementation details in a structured manner.
- Collaborate with hardware engineers to ensure seamless integration and functionality.
- Perform debugging, and testing of the developed software components.
- Develop ASIL-D compliant software for safety functions
About you:
- Msc. (ir./ing.) in Electronics or Computer Sciences with a passion for electronics and real-time embedded software
- Experience in automotive software development standards (MISRA, ISO 26262, ISO21434).
- Several years of experience in C programming for real-time embedded systems.
- Proficient in developing HAL components and SPI driver integration.
- Experience with real-time operating systems (RTOS)
- Familiarity with CAN communication protocols and CAN transceiver integration.
- Experience with Renesas RH850 CPU family.
- Experience with AUTOSAR applications.
- Experience with ETAS tooling for Autosar compliant software development
- Hands on experience with automotive software measurement tools (CANape, CANoe, CANalyzer, or equivalent)
- Excellent problem analysis and solving skills.
- Ability to work and think in a structured and detail-oriented manner.
- Hands-on, proactive, and highly motivated.
- Strong communication and documentation skills for cross-functional collaboration.
